The Bunny Museum -

Celebrating 27 Years (1998-2025)

The Bunny Museum, founded in 1998 by Candace Frazee and Steve Lubanski, showcased over 40,550 rabbit-related items in Altadena, California. Originally housed in their Pasadena home, it moved to a larger space in 2017. The museum held the Guinness World Record for the largest rabbit-themed collection since 1999. Items included ceramics, antiquities, and live rabbits. Tragically, the Eaton Fire in 2025 destroyed the museum and its collection, though the animals were saved. A GoFundMe campaign launched to help rebuild. The museum’s slogan was "The Hoppiest Place in the World."

June Bug Tattoo

Isabela Livingstone founded June Bug Tattoo in April 2023 in Altadena, creating a safe and inclusive space, especially for women, trans, queer, and neurodivergent individuals. Tragically, the Eaton Wildfire destroyed the shop, erasing her life’s work and savings. Despite the devastation, overwhelming community support has inspired her to rebuild. Donations will help secure a new location, cover permits, renovations, furniture, and essential supplies. Isabela is determined to restore June Bug Tattoo’s welcoming environment. She humbly asks for support to bring her vision back to life. Contributions can be made through their GoFundMe page.

Fox's Restaurant

I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities. Let's connect.

Fox's Restaurant, a cherished Altadena landmark since 1955, was renowned for its cozy atmosphere and classic American fare, particularly its breakfast and sandwich offerings. In 2018, Chef-owners Mo and Paul took over, continuing its legacy of quality dining. Tragically, in January 2025, the Eaton Fire devastated the area, destroying Fox's along with other local establishments. The community deeply feels the loss of this historic eatery.  GoFundMe page.

Rhythms of the Village

I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities. Let's connect.

Rhythms of the Village, a family-owned African heritage store, lost its physical location and inventory in the Eaton Fire on January 8th. The team is working to rebuild, focusing first on the Altadena Heritage Collection. The store offers African-inspired clothing, beauty products, home decor, and cultural artifacts. Community events like "For The Tribe" and sidewalk sales continue to foster engagement. Customers can support by staying connected, donating, or purchasing available products like soaps, shea butter, and castor oil. Rhythms of the Village remains dedicated to preserving African culture and community spirit.
